I became "one of Jehovah's Witnesses" when I was 22 y/o. I had just finished up four years in the US Army. The witnesses actually came to my door
when I was 13 y/o. I took a bible study then, the "youth book," but hated it. I joined in my twenties because I wanted to study the bible then, and I
prayed to god for help and the witnesses came to my door. Yep, you guessed it: I felt god answered my prayers. I played the game of pioneeing, and being a
ministerial sevant. I experienced fun and pain, and after eight years decided to leave. My only regret is that I am no longer in my twenties.
